On April 26th, Tom will give a short presentation on the “production” side of the nursery in the Owl Barn beginning at 6:30 pm. The program will include such aspects as water recycling and conservation, insect and disease control, fertilization of plants and other production issues. Afterwards, put on your walking shoes as he will take you to the production greenhouse for annuals and perennials and to the far away irrigation facilities that makes the operation possible. In addition, Tom will address subjects as to quality control, virus indexing, marketing and heating and ventilation control. We ask you to register for this enlightening program as “seating” is limited. The program includes desserts and drinks in the Owl Barn. Fee: $5.00
