SEASONAL CASHIER

Dayton Nursery in Norton, Ohio is seeking a seasonal (full-time) cashier for the spring season. Weekly hours will range from 30 to 50, overtime is necessary.
Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work weekends and some nights until 9:00 pm. Computer literacy, cashier and customer service experience is a plus. Candidates must work well with others, have good phone manner and be able to work face-to-face with customers.
Knowledge of gardening, lawn care, fertilizers, pest control and plant species is a plus but not necessary.
Duties included but not limited to:
– Operate point of sale system and computer equipment
– Customer questions
– Handling and documenting warranty claims
– Answering phone calls
– Page sales people
– Floor help
– Stocking
– Create and post invoices, deliveries & installations
– Maintain and update paper files
