Pansies & Other Spring Plants
We received our first shipment of colorful pansies over the last 2 days. We have regular pansies and violas in 5″ pots, bowls and market baskets plus a selection of Cool Wave Pansies in 4″ individual pots and 10″ hanging baskets. Potted primrose are also now available.
Even though they look similar to a typical pansy, Cool Waves are a bit different as they are known for their vigorous spreading ability, up to 30″ wide per plant. Plus, they are extremely cold hardy and will bloom for months and months.
And, yes, you certainly can put them outside this time of year. To keep them looking their best, I would bring them inside when temperatures dip below freezing overnight. Did you see the weather forecast for next week? It looks pretty nice!
