Paperwhites are a coloful and fragrant antidote to the winter blues. Each bulb sends up straps of green leaves and two to three stems which produce popcorn-white blossoms. They are so easy, you can force them into bloom in either water or soil.

Growing Instructions:

| Planting |
|
Spread the potting soil evenly in the pot. Nestle the bulbs halfway into the soil. Spread decorative pebbles on soil surface.

| Watering |
|
Water thoroughly but gently to avoid dislodging the soil, using water at room temperature. Then keep the soil moist but not soggy.

| Growing |
|
Paperwhites will bloom 4-6 weeks after planting. Place the pot in a cool (65°F) dark place until roots have formed and the bulbs feel tight in the sol (about 14 days). Then put the pot in bright light at room temperature as the foliage and flower buds emerge.

- Once the flowers are open, cool temperatures (65°F) will keep them fresher longer.
