-
The perfect mulch for flower and vegetable gardens because it naturalizes soil acidity
-
Will not form a “crust” or promote fungus growth and will completely decompose over the winter into rich black humus (worm food) to fortify your beds for the next season
Use as a Soil Conditioner
- Sweet Peet is fortified with farm manure and reduces nitrogen-borrowing when tilled-in around root zones of plants.
- Will also retain moisture and provide nutrients.
- Great for use in vegetable gardens!
Use when Seeding
- Apply a 1-2 inch layer on desired area, along with fertilizer and smooth evenly before seeding. After applying seed, top dress with a ½ inch of Sweet Peet.
Use on Roses
- Sweet Peet has been highly recommended as a top dressing for roses to help retain water, keep the roots cool and inhibit weed growth that is so important when growing roses.
