• What fertilizer should I use when seeding my lawn?
     If you are not concerned about preventing crabgrass, we suggest using Greenview’s Starter Fertilizer or Fall Lawn Food.  Both will promote root growth of the new grass seedlings.  If you are concerned about preventing crabgrass, apply Greenview’s Seed Starter plus Crabgrass Preventer.  This product “knows” the difference between grass seed and other germinating weed seeds.
     

  • Do I have to apply all 4-steps of a 4-step lawn care program?
     No, you may pick and choose as needed.
     

  • Do I have to use a spreader to apply lawn fertilizer?
     We recommend using a spreader to apply lawn fertilizer as this will equally distribute the fertilizer over the lawn.
