Description: Tired of Burning Bush?? Then try Virginia Sweetspire! These outstanding shrubs bear lightly fragrant white flowers in July with brilliant reddish-purple fall color that lasts for weeks – longer than most other plants fall coloration. Sweetpsire will stay fairly small making it well suited for residential landscapes. Easy to grow with no serious insect or disease problems.
A great plant that is attractive all year round! Attracts birds and butterflies too!

This plant tolerates some drought and will grow in occassionally wet soil. Prefers well-drained, loamy sandy or clay soils. The pH preference is acidic to slightly alkaline. |
