We purchased a Golden Chain Tree at the beginning of the season, but have had no success getting it to produce. We thought that it was dead and returned it for a different one. Now I am confused. The new one looks as dead as the first one. It is June and neither have any branches or bloomage. We did a quick test on the first one and think that we might have been mistaken in our assumption that it was dead. It is green underneath the bar.
