Butterfly
Flower
Asclepias
Description:
A must for the butterfly garden! This plant is late to break dormancy, so be patient in the spring. The tuberosa type is sometimes used to make yellow dye. They also serve as nectar for butterflies and hosts for butterfly larvae. Looks nice planted with Solidago, Heliopsis, Helianthus and Penstemon.
