The members of Bombay Flying Club have offered advanced multimedia- and storytelling workshops since 2009. In fact, we have taught more than 50 workshops worldwide, so we know what we are talking about. As regular teachers at Henri-Nannen-Schule and Akademie Für Publizistik in Germany, The Danish School of Media and Journalism in Denmark and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop we have provided intensive training for students and professionals alike from all levels in the industry and from all over the world.
Our workshops vary from entry level training to advanced storytelling workshops and Master classes. We usually teach three- to six day workshops, but we can customize a workshop of any length. We are proud to say that many of our workshops have resulted in award winning work.
As a new thing in 2013, we have now opened up for one-on-one training. We will come up with a workshop program that will suit your individual needs so feel free to contact us if interested.
Most of our workshops are production workshops. They include the following:
PREPARATION - shot lists and coaching. What to think about before you venture out.
VIDEO – working with HDSLR cameras. Setup, workflow, the shoot and the pitfalls of shallow DOF focus.
AUDIO – recording for photojournalists. Recorders, microphones, formats and interview technique.
STORYBOARDING – preparing for the unexpected. How to work with interviews, plots and drafts.
EDITING - workflow. Coming back and setting up the edit. FCP, FCPX or Premiere Pro.
